Sail Away

It's those moments in life when you need a break
from your mundane routine.
Getting away from
University
Study
Work
Family
Friends
Stress
Negativity
Everything
It's those moments in life when you just want to sail away into the horizon and never want to return. Imagining a sunset beach with a glass of red, fingers stroking through the soft white sand. Rose confetti petals scattered on your king bed, resort-island getaway. And no one to bug you or demand written papers due in two days. Just serenity. Bliss. Calm. Vacation.

I chose to talk about travel because soon I am bound overseas myself. Starting in Cairo following Egypt and the Pyramids of Giza making our way through the sacred and spiritual Holy Land and finishing in Madrid for a world wide, Catholic-Christian, praise and worship gathering of thousands if not millions of people to celebrate the one and only ...Jesus! Initiated by the great and remarkable Pope John Paul II in 1985 World Youth Day is a youth-oriented Catholic Church event. Though the event itself celebrates Catholic faith, the invitation extends to all youth, regardless of religious convictions. It's an amazing affair, especially those seeking or pursuing a spiritual connection with God and to share that experience with other believers. The atmosphere is incomprehensible for words. The whole experience is pure in such divinity. Putting aside all religion and beliefs, any gathering of people who love and connect on the same level is magical. And what better than to spend it during a holiday or a break from your life.

Everyone deserves a break. Everyone deserves to have a vacation once in a while. So why not go all out and see the world on your way to recuperating the body, mind and soul. Go see the chocolate mountains of The Philippines. Go explore the Amazon of Portuguese. Sail the high seas and go somewhere you have never been before, the place you've always wanted to experience.

The best place to start is within
the familiarities of your own surroundings...
...then GO EXPLORE THE WORLD as you please!
